Green Light Music Video

From the 7th to 11th of May 2023, in collaboration with the Japanese contemporary dancer Ichi Go, Swiss director Elena Petitpierre and German Director of Photography Jonathan Steil, a music video was produced for my composition “Green Light”. The production was supported by a scholarship from Deutscher Musikrat and Neustart Kultur.

Jacobsen Songs Recording in Hansa Studios

On the first weekend of May 2023, my first three songs on poetry of Rolf Jacobsen were recorded with One Earth Orchestra and the Scottish-Maltese Soprano Carine Tinney by the renowned sound engineer Guy Sternberg in Hansa Studios Berlin. The music is currently awaiting release.

A cycle of songs based on Poems by Rolf Jacobsen

From May to Oktober 2022, with the help of a six-month-long composition scholarship by Musikfonds, I was able to compose a cycle of songs based on poems of the Norwegian poet Rolf Jacobsen for One Earth Orchestra and the Scottish/Maltese soprano Carine Tinney. In the songs that alternate between classical-contemporary style and Jazz, I use the Jazz-voice of our cellist Julia Biłat in conjunction with Carine Tinneys classical soprano to embody those different musical genres and express the fine nuances present in the poetry.
I am especially excited to announce that the songs will be recorded in May and a music video funded by Deutscher Musikrat will follow!

“Journey” by One Earth Orchestra Release

On July 25th 2021, my band One Earth Orchestra released their first album on all platforms in cooperation with the Berlin-based label Sungroove.
I am especially happy to announce that, next to compositions and arrangements of the band members, the album contains my compositions “Aya Uma”, “Palindrome” and my arrangement-composition “Two Bulgarian Dances” as well as two arrangements of some of my favourite Klezmer pieces! “Siren” Release

On June 25th 2021, my composition “Siren” was released on 7K!s Album “Wind Layers” in a recording with One Earth Orchestra.

!K7 Collaboration

In December 2020, I was asked by the music production company !K7 to compose and record a new piece for their upcoming digital release “Wind Layers”.
Excited for this special opportunity, I wrote my piece “Siren” and recorded it with some of my favourite musicans Dragan Ribić, Victor Vivar and Hannes Malkowski in Lowswing Recording Studio with Guy Sternberg in February 2021. “Wind Layers” will be released in June 2021. Stay tuned for more!

One Earth Orchestra’s first album “Journey” will be released on all platforms on July 16th! As soon as it hits the net, you can find links to all the platforms for purchase or stream here.

One Earth Orchestra album release

We are thrilled to announce that in July 2021, One Earth Orchestras first album “Journey” will be released on all platforms in collaboration with the berlin-based Label Sungroove!
The album was recorded in February 2020 in Jazzanova Recording Studio with Axel Reinemer. It features diverse original compositions by the bands members as well as elaborate arrangements of traditional tunes inspired by the bands numerous and exotic concert journeys and musical exchanges with musicians from a great diversity of backgrounds.
